Our Objectives


  • Providing health care to the school community.
  • Attending to the health needs of the past teachers of the college.
  • Assisting the medical students who entered the medical faculties from our school.
  • Delivering health-related lectures to the staff & children of the college.
  • Organizing the annual health camp within the school premises in collaboration with the Junior Old Boys' Association.
  • Shifted the school medical clinic to the fully equipped "Suwapiyasa" building complex in 2015.
  • Employed a paid, qualified nurse in Suwapiyasa.
  • Kept open the "Suwapiyasa" every school day for the college staff and students from 2015.
  • A medical officer attended the clinic on every school day.
  • The dental unit of the school was shifted to the 2nd floor of the building in 2015.
  • Conducted the annual health camp from 2011 to 2018. Recommenced in 2023.
  • Conducted several special health clinics for teachers, once in three months, from 2012.
  • Old boy, Mr. Jayasiri Salwathura, proprietor of Dawn Pharmacy Panadura, arranged a 6% discount for past teachers for their medicines, purchased at his pharmacy.
  • Established a one million rupee fund in BOC Panadura to look after the maintenance cost of the Suwapiyasa in 2023.
  • Old Sumangaliens' Union helped us by repairing and repainting our building complex in 2024.
